Mari has a masters degree in Marriage, Family, Child
Counseling. Her vast experience includes child protective
services, social work, domestic violence, peer counseling and
foster care. Mari has spoken at retreats, seminars and
conferences. Weaving her own healing journey with humor,
compassion and practical tools, she brings help, hope and
healing.
Mari has a desire to come along side pastors and church
leadership in building a safe and nurturing environment for
women and children. Her workshops provide tools and
resources to increase awareness of sexual abuse prevention,
practical ways to protect the innocent, understand a pastor’s
legal and ethical responsibilities and walking with a survivor of

and restoration into women and children. Carolyn's husband
had a secret life in pornography which lasted for 36 years.
This former educator, foster parent and child advocate for
